Piet Oudolf is a Dutch garden designer, nurseryman and author of books on gardening. He is one of the most talked-about planting designers in Europe. His designs are mostly based on working with grasses and perennials. In his nursery he is trialing and assessing a large number of varieties ensuring a typical as well as surprising and sustainable look and quality of his garden and landscape designs. The combination of this great variety of plants and colours with a strong architectural shape of layouts and structures makes his work unique.
